In A state of SHOCK

I guess some how subconsciously I knew, and that's why I started this blog. I went to the clinic today, and found out I am 6 weeks pregnant. I am in a state of shock. Not that it's unwanted, I just didn't think it could ever happen again. I was told I only had 10% chance of conceiving, after surviving cervical cancer. That was 13 years ago.
We haven't told anyone except my Mom, & she's beyond happy. This will be her 4Th grandchild. My lil bro has 2 boys ages 6 & 7. And I have my Aeilani age 14.
I know, I know how do you start over after 14 years. I'm so freaked out. I'm worried about what complications may occur due to the cancer. Anthony is also in a state of shock. We haven't real spoken about it yet. I am trying to let him sit with the news for a while, before I start in on how he feels about it. We have to decide when to start telling people and who to tell first. This is going to be a WILD ride, so buckle up. I'll keep ya' posted step by step....

                               DUE DATE 11/4/11
11/4 is my Mom's birthday and Jasmine's birthday. To many Scorpio's, Lani is also a Scorpio 11/19........
This week's major developments: The nose, mouth, and ears that you'll spend so much time kissing in eight months are beginning to take shape. If you could see into your uterus, you'd find an oversize head and dark spots where your baby's eyes and nostrils are starting to form. His emerging ears are marked by small depressions on the sides of the head, and his arms and legs by protruding buds. His heart is beating about 100 to 160 times a minute — almost twice as fast as yours — and blood is beginning to course through his body. His intestines are developing, and the bud of tissue that will give rise to his lungs has appeared. His pituitary gland is forming, as are the rest of his brain, muscles, and bones. Right now, your baby is a quarter of an inch long.

  1. Knock me over with a feather! CONGRATS! Somehow, someday, this will be - not "all right" -- but fanTAStic! Call when you're ready/able to talk. Love, Janet
